Hopefully this blog post inspires you to take action on your website before waiting for things to be perfect or getting bogged down with making everything perfect.

Instead, focus on some of these key areas that can improve the overall look and feel of your website.

Home page

We all know the Home Page is important but at times it’s hard to know exactly which areas of the home page to update.

We want to make it easy for new visitors to get to know you and return visitors to take that next step with you. Make sure to give them a few options but not too many that are overwhelming.

Having links to your services, about page, and blog content are all ways to make sure that the Home page is inviting visitors further along into the website.

Clear navigation

Your website’s navigation is how the visitors gets around your website. That’s why it’s important to all have clear options (nothing cryptic or mysterious) that allows your ideal audience to easily hire and book time with you.

I also don’t recommend having more than 4 - 5 options in the navigation.

About Page

This is one of the most important pages on your website! It gives visitors the opportunity to get to know you and connect with you as a person.

When writing for the about page, think about what your audience wants to know vs. what you think you should say. If they were sitting in front of you, what would you tell them about your experience in what you do and why you decided that you wanted to help people in this way.

Also make sure to include a easy link to book to your services and also a taste of some of your blog content.
