So here is what some of you may have guessed: Search Marketing is about being aware of both Google and the visitors coming to your website. 

This is because website are made of code and Google is the one crawling that code and serving it in the search results. The final product is an experience called a website that other humans come and hang out on. 

There are many things we can do to make it easier for Google to understand what our website is about, like schema markup, and having a sitemap, among many other things. 

For the humans, having a beautiful website experience that they find valuable and engaging is what is most important.
