Website Structure (and how it helps you rank)
You might know by now that SEO is really a long term investment. That's why sometimes comparing it alongside our other marketing channels is a little bit tricky , since we aren't always going to see the immediate return.
One of my big goals for 2021 is writing a book (yay!) and it's part of that journey will be experimenting with my own SEO and applying the methodologies I teach and believe in for my own website.

I'm going to be honest; doing my own SEO hasn't always been on the highest priority since I've been busy running my business, helping clients, and creating my courses. Here is the progress I've made with my own search traffic in the past few years.
I know - not as exciting as it could be. What I did during this time:
Wrote inconsistently for the blog
Attracted organic backlinks randomly
Fixed website issues as they came up
We can compare it to one of my AIM clients results here:
This consistent growth month over month is due to the client followed the AIM methodology over a 10-month period and impacting all parts of the SEO strategy:
Keywords + Content - creating amazing content consistently every single month, based on keywords that are getting traffic and that are aligned with the client's search persona.
Website Experience - decreasing site errors, improving navigation, and website structure.
Backlinks - generating quality news features every month to known sources so the client and their business are seen as an authority and expert in the field.
That's why I created this process: get consistent results over time.
Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing more insights into what it takes to rank your website this year and the AIM process. So stay tuned!
