Wow - what a journey I’ve gone through to finally align with helping Therapists and Counselors. But isn’t it funny that once something becomes this clear, it is hard not to see it any other way?
In this episode, I wanted to share a little bit about why I’ve chosen to specifically help Therapists and Counselors and why now is an especially unique time for this type of work.

This has been a shift that has become so clear to me in the last few months it was unavoidable. But it is plain as day: mental health is so important! And it’s still not talked about a lot, to be honest. But the work of mental health professionals, be it Therapists and Counselors is crucial to our planet right now.
The cool thing about Google is that it’s so easy to open up your browser and ask all sorts of private questions about what you might be experiencing in your head. And you can do it at any time of day (or in the middle of the night, when many of our darkest thoughts appear).
You can also search for mental health professionals who specialize in a specific type of issue, like anxiety or ocd. The more awareness we have over our mental health, the more specific these searches online become.
Here are some keyword samples from the topic “anxiety” from a tool we use to do keyword research for our client. KD is Keyword Difficulty, as in how hard it is to rank for this keyword and Volume is how many average searches this keyword is getting each month:

It’s crazy to think that there are over 160,000 searches each month on “anxiety attack” and this is just in the US alone.
It’s abundantly clear that people want the information to be able to take control of their mental health and in many cases, get additional support with that. They want to get to know what the Therapist or Counselors approach is on a certain topic before hiring them. They want to get a taste of what it is like to work with that person 1:1. And they want to do that all from the comfort of their home (and bed).
