SEO Case Study with The HA Society

I’m going to be honest - this SEO case study is completely different from what I’ve shared before in the past. This client worked with us for 1-month!! And started getting results pretty much immediately after. Although this isn’t how it typically works for our clients, I’m sharing it because I feel that taking action on your Search Marketing sooner rather than later can make a big difference in your SEO results and business growth.

Ok - let’s dive into The HA Society traffic results:

Here we are seeing massive growth over the last 6-months, with 769% growth in clicks from Google and 607% growth in impressions. 

In the last 3-months, clicks from Google have grown 131%.

And impressions in the Search Results have grown by 74%.

Organic search is the most popular way people find the website - over 44% of visitors! 


This is how our work with Dani played out: in June 2021, we started on a SEO retainer and did a bit less than 2 months of work together. Dani took quick action on the keywords and dived into all my suggestions from the beginning. She was already creating great content which helped a lot.

Since her website is new, most of our work was focused on keywords and her blogging plan, looking at keyword ideas, content outlines and the monthly keyword progress report (this is part of the Retainer and the Monitor phase of AIM). 

Key Insights:

  • Just having initial awareness around your keywords can make a big difference. This is the biggest takeaway from our work together and Dani focused on taking massive action on the keywords and content I sent her. We can see this in the results that she’s gotten.  

  • Targeting keywords that are directly connected with your services. This is a big one that I feel a lot of businesses miss when starting to do Search Marketing. They only focus on the keywords that have traffic associated with them, instead of making sure that traffic is actually profitable to them. 

  • Understanding the basics of Search Marketing from the beginning can make a big difference. As part of the SEO retainer and AIM process, there is a big educational piece that plays a part in making sure the action we are taking is aligned with the rest of your marketing and content plan.
