When we started our journey targeted, they are started blogging but had no awareness around keywords and traffic. Now, they have better clarify on their keyword strategy and how it aligns with the rest of their marketing an sales goals.
We mostly worked on targeting new keywords, as well as keyword topics that are “peripheral” topics that don’t specifically talk about the product but attract their ideal audience.
We also worked a lot on creating content structures that are easy to read and digestible to the reader.

SEO Case Study #2 - Jana O. Media
Jana O. Media is a Pinterest Marketing expert who helps course creators and service providers drive traffic from Pinterest to their website.
I’m a big fan of Jana and her work and has an amazing body of work on her website. When I started working with Jana, she had been doing a lot of blogging but didn’t have awareness around her keywords or search traffic.
Her biggest goal was driving more visitors to her Pinterest course and growing sales there. When I started to analyze her data, we uncovered that she was already ranking in a few keywords but since it wasn’t intentional, there was a lot of tweaking and fine-tuning we could do, to both her existing content and new blog post.
Jana dived right in and was super dedicated to the process and I think the results show.
Jana’s specific traffic growth results:
64% increase in website impressions and 147% (!!!) increase in clicks, 6-months over 6-months comparison (data graphics coming up on the next page)
The average position in the search results has gone up by 37%. This means overall, you are higher up in the search results, getting to page 1.
Search Console Traffic - Impression growth in the last 16 months
Search Console - Clicks (6 months over 6 months)
Search Console - Impressions (6 months over 6 months)
Conclusion
Having an SEO process and following a strategy is everything.
Gaining awareness around current keywords allows you to see where you are getting progress and ride that wave of awareness.
This is one of the main things I teach in the Homegrown Traffic course. Yes, I show you where to put keywords and the very specific tactical things (like how to use keywords), but what I think is most valuable is that I lead you through a step-by-step process that works.
